About This Spot

Sharp’s BBQ is the kind of spot where the hum of a slow afternoon feels just right—a relaxed local eatery tucked away in Piedmont, inviting you to slow down and savor something hearty. From the moment you arrive at this modest corner on Monroe Avenue, there’s a comforting ease to the place. The kind of welcome that arrives in the friendly nod of the team working behind the window, busy but unfazed, cutting into briskets and ribs with practiced hands.

The pace here matches the rhythm of good barbecue—unrushed, thoughtful, and grounded in tradition. Whether you’re grabbing a steady meal on the patio or picking up to-go orders, there’s a sense that the flavors have been coaxed out patiently, no shortcuts taken. The smell of smoked meat lingers in the air, mixing with the chatter of casual conversations and the clink of cold cans and bottles. It’s unmistakably local, a place where the food speaks as much to the spirit of the town as to the appetite.

Sharp’s doesn’t just serve barbecue; it invites you into a shared moment around the table. The meats—whether wrapped in thick, peppered bark or tender enough to pull apart gently—carry a balance of spice, smoke, and richness that feels genuine, never overblown. Sides like creamy potato salad and a spicy baked bean have that curious way of feeling both familiar and unexpected, the kind of simple touches that complete a meal without stealing the show.

Here, the beauty lies in the human moments—people stopping by after work with a quick call to place their order and then swinging by to pick up warm boxes packed with smoky goodness. Friends lingering on the patio, savoring the brisket sandwich or a two-meat plate while stories unfold around them. The atmosphere is unpretentious and inviting, a quiet celebration of slow-cooked care and neighborhood connection.

Sharp’s BBQ feels like a pause—a place where taste and time come together, making it easy to find warmth not just in the food, but in the experience itself.

This spot has your BBQ!!!! My first time ordering it & I liked it. Had it (smoked chicken) at an event...and knew I needed to swing by and pick some up on the way home from work. ...The order was placed over the phone and picked up at the window... The food was prepped hot and pretty quick. Got it home and accurate and also Yummo. The flavors were packed in the to-go boxes... the pulled pork wildcat sandwich was so tasty... I devoured it. The bacon wrapped sausage was a big hit from my daughter's perspective. The boss had brisket from the 3 meat combo of that and chicken and hot link or sausage. The slaw was thumbs up... I am a big fan of the spicy baked beans it was loaded with flavor!! Everything I ate I can say was pretty delicious so 5 stars they get from me. The staff is friendly & efficient as well. The tip was deserved.. especially after I saw togo beers. .so you guessed it I tipped. Keep up the good work. I WILL return again... My monies were well spent! We finally had the chance to try Sharp’s BBQ the other day, and it was excellent bbq. Mrs. Flip Out had the chopped brisket sandwich and really enjoyed it. I had the 2 meat plate with the hot link and Polish sausage and a side of spicy bbq beans. It was a large portion of meat and the spices used in the meat were amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The beans definitely had a little kick and they were very good as well. My sister had a pulled pork sandwich with a side of potato salad and she enjoyed her meal also. Sharp’s has an outdoor seating area. Sharp’s often has day old racks of rib for sale; we bought 2 and had them later that weekend. Wow, they might be the best ribs we’ve had! If you’re in Piedmont, give them a try.

Oh my goodness, what an absolute delight. The bark was wonderful. The flavors were popping and the Brisket.. good lort that Brisket, I like a fatty Brisket always have and they did not disappoint at all!!! I'm addicted. The beans were extremely tasty, and the potato salad was creamy but still have a wonderful consistency The hot bbq sauce was very good. I wish they had a yellow bbq sauce with a rich vinegar tasty, then my bbq search in life would be complete.

Heard so much about it so we had to try it. Not bad but not great either, The smoke flavor was lacking in pulled pork and brisket. The turkey was the main show very good. The sides were meh the potato salad tasted like one you buy at the store and the beans were spicy! Too much for my stomach. Lots of room outside on their patio to eat. The employee who helped us was friendly.

Can you say yes!! Walked up to a friendly guy who took my order. Was able to see them cutting the meat. Very clean place and everything in order. Had a couple of tables, clean tables. Did not take long to get my food. Got the Piedmont Windmill. Wanted to sample everything. Everything was great. All the meat cooked perfectly. The sides great. Loved Bills spicy beans. They have made a goldmine in the great town of Piedmont!

Where to begin.... a spur of the moment trip and a 5 year anniversary for Sharp's brought us here. This small BBQ venue packs a big bunch..... a nice covered outdoor setting. Sharp's offers straight forward BBQ fare. The prices here are very affordable and family friendly. The only negative, which is minor, is the bread quality. The meat and sides are on point. Generous slices of brisket and hot links, a nice three rib sandwich, all with excellent smoke rings. Seasoned well. We were even treated to a complimentary pulled pork sandwich for their 5 year Anniversary. We had three sides. Fresh made Coleslaw, a delicious Potato Salad and amazing meat filled Baked Beans. The portion sizes can easily feed 2 people. Make the trip, a short drive of Edmond or OKC. You won't be disappointed.

My wife and I were driving through town, 1st time, ordered 3 meat combo. Brisket, ribs and hot link, potato salad and green beans, the onions and pickles. All of the food was awesome, the atmosphere was perfect for the beautiful day. Thanks and we look forward to our next trip to town.
